Are you a survey technician or survey engineer looking to be part of exciting projects in construction, infrastructure, and industry in northern Sweden? Our client is now looking for more employees in surveying! The company is a Nordic consulting firm with extensive expertise in land, water, and environmental issues. They offer services in surveying technology, geotechnics, environmental and laboratory operations, and have been an established player in the Swedish market since 2017. The business is growing in northern Sweden, where they have offices in both Umeå and Luleå, and they are now seeking more employees for their Measurement business area. Their assignments span multiple industries, including construction, infrastructure, industry, railways, and mining.

As a survey technician or survey engineer, you will work on varied assignments within surveying, both in the field and in the office. The work includes tasks such as setting out, measuring, and managing measurement data in various types of projects. You will participate in planning, execution, and follow-up together with colleagues and clients, and have the opportunity to take responsibility for both practical and technical aspects of the projects. Depending on your experience, the role can be adapted to different levels of responsibility and complexity.

Examples of tasks:

  • Perform setting out and measurement in various types of projects, for example in the mining industry or infrastructure.
  • Work in the field, in the office, or with modeling and data management.
  • Manage project documentation and contribute to efficient construction processes.
  • Use modern tools such as drones, CAD, and BIM.
  • Participate in both short and long assignments in areas such as infrastructure, industry, and mining.
  • Be responsible for documentation, follow-up, and client contact.
  • Contribute to planning and some administration related to the projects.

You are willing to take responsibility for your assignments and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, even when the role requires independence. At the same time, you contribute to teamwork and share your experiences. We believe you appreciate a varied everyday life with both fieldwork and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of work experience as a Survey Technician/Survey Engineer.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge/experience with tools such as CAD, BIM, or similar.
  • Willing to travel.
